We make hunting clothing to order for brands, distributors and specialist retailers: coats, jackets, ponchos, blazers and trousers. This is clothing that has to survive many seasons in damp, cold and contact with branches, so what counts is seam durability, the quality of reinforcements and the right choice of fabric – not the cut alone. Our machinery is built for heavy sewing, so we work easily with high-weight materials, coated and membrane fabrics, wool and quiet cloth. We manufacture under contract: on material supplied by the client or as a full package with sourcing on our side.

Materials we work with
In hunting clothing we work most often with quiet-surface fabrics, waterproof and coated materials, membranes, and wool and wool blends. Each of these calls for a different seam approach, a different needle and a different thread tension – with wool and quiet fabrics that translates directly into the look and durability of the finished garment.
Cutting runs on the Bullmer CNC cutter, which cuts many plies with repeatable precision and keeps the use of expensive material under control. We make reinforcing seams, fit zips, applications and multi-layer elements, and extend production with finishing processes: hot-melt seam sealing, lamination, impregnation and edge protection. Before the series we test fabric samples for shrinkage, stretch and abrasion resistance, and finished products go through visual and dimensional inspection.
How the work runs
We start with a conversation about the product: construction, material, volume, deadline and unit budget. If you have documentation and patterns ready, we go straight to the prototype. If you have only a sample to be copied or a sketch, we prepare construction and size grading and select fabrics and trims. You approve the prototype before the series starts – only then does repeatable production begin.
Trial series start at 50 pieces, and at 200 to 500 pieces the unit cost drops noticeably. Hunting clothing is strongly seasonal, so for ongoing cooperation we plan the batch schedule in advance, so the goods are ready before the sales peak.

Frequently asked questions
Do you sew on fabrics we supply?
Yes, that is our standard way of working. In CMT you supply fabrics, trims and usually patterns, and we cut, sew and assemble. We can also take over sourcing as a full package if you prefer one contractor for the whole job.
Will you make a garment from a sample we bring?
Yes. Copying from a sample is a common starting point – we take off the construction, prepare the pattern and grading, then a prototype for approval. At that stage we can also suggest technological changes that lower production cost without losing durability.
What series sizes do you handle?
From 50 pieces in a trial run. For repeatable production the optimal threshold is 200 to 500 pieces. For seasonal clothing we split the order into batches following the sales calendar.
Do you handle marking and packing?
Yes – computer embroidery, sewn-in labels and tags, special markings, and both bulk and individual packing.
