Machinery – CNC cutting room and heavy sewing

Our plant is built for production an ordinary garment workshop will not take on: heavy fabrics, coated and membrane materials, multi-layer assemblies.

  • up to 80 pliesin one cutting operation
  • ±0.3 mmcutter accuracy
  • 5–15% lesswaste than hand cutting
  • under one roofcutting to packing

Our machinery is the main reason orders rejected elsewhere end up with us. Sewing heavy, coated and membrane materials calls for machines with sufficient penetration force and for the right needle, thread and tension – plus finishing processes garment workshops usually do not have on site. With us cutting, sewing, technical finishing, marking and packing all happen in one plant in Żary, which shortens the circulation of a batch and lets us act on quality-control findings without sending the product out of house.

CNC cutting room

The Bullmer CNC cutter cuts up to 80 plies of fabric in a single operation with an accuracy of ±0.3 mm. Automatic cutting removes human error and lowers material waste by 5 to 15 per cent against hand cutting – with expensive technical and wool fabrics that feeds straight into unit cost.

We work with DXF and AAMA files. We also accept PDF with accurate dimensioning – our technology team then prepares the cutter input file for an additional fee. The technologist sets the number of plies to the material: up to 80 for thin jersey, 20 to 40 for typical clothing fabrics, 5 to 10 for heavy technical materials. We also offer cutting as a standalone service without sewing.

CNC cutting room

Sewing room – heavy sewing stations

  • High-weight materials – where an ordinary garment machine has no penetration force.
  • Coated and membrane fabrics, including Cordura, PVC and canvas.
  • Multi-layer assemblies and reinforced seams.
  • Stations for fillings and insulation, multi-chamber constructions with quilting that stops the filling shifting.
  • Flame-retardant and waterproof fabrics plus non-wovens, where needle and thread choice decides seam tightness.
  • Large-format and short-run products where precision matters rather than scale.

Technical finishing

This stage is most often the reason a brand cannot find a maker at home. Seam sealing with hot-melt tape, lamination, impregnation and the fitting of technical elements are all done in house, on site in Żary – together with leak testing.

As a result a membrane or protective product does not travel between plants, and a correction after quality control does not mean a week of circulation. For demanding orders we run mechanical testing to ISO and MIL-STD standards, and every batch goes through dimensional and visual inspection.

Marking and finishing

  • Computer embroidery – the most durable marking method, surviving hundreds of wash cycles at 95 °C with industrial detergents.
  • Woven labels and tags, sewn in to the EU requirements of regulation (EU) No 1007/2011.
  • RFID labels and GS1 codes – EAN and SSCC on pallets for retail and warehouse logistics.
  • Packing – retail-ready, pick and pack for e-commerce, bulk on pallets or individual packaging.

Frequently asked questions

Which materials do you not take on?

Our focus is heavy sewing. We also sew light jersey and fashion garments, but that is not where our advantage lies – for such orders you will often find a cheaper maker. Describe the product and the technologist will tell you openly whether it suits us.

Can I visit the plant?

Yes. Żary sits around 30 km from the German border and a little over two hours from Berlin, so a visit fits into a single day. Arrange the date by phone.

Do you run leak tests on finished products?

Yes, on request – together with seam sealing and lamination done in house. For demanding orders we additionally run mechanical testing to ISO and MIL-STD standards.

Let us talk about your production

Call us — our technologist will tell you straight away whether we can make your product and what the cost will look like. You can also send a specification, a pattern or a sample to be copied: we prepare a quote within 48 hours.
