We make accessories for babies and small children to order for brands: cocoons, nests, nursing pillows, swaddles and sleeping bags. These are products with filling, so technologically close to what we do with sleeping bags and protective wraps – they call for the right material handling, evenly distributed filling and seams that survive repeated washing. We manufacture under contract, strictly B2B: for children’s brands, retailers building their own line and companies developing a product under their own logo. We work on material and documentation supplied by the client, or help develop that documentation.

Materials we work with
For children’s products we work with soft, skin-friendly materials: cotton, jersey, velour, muslin and blends, and for sleeping bags also fabrics with a warming layer. Sewing with fillings is a technology of its own – the filling must be evenly distributed and secured against shifting, and the seams must survive regular washing at higher temperatures.
We pay particular attention to the finish of seams in contact with a child’s skin and to the strength of every fastening. Cutting runs on the Bullmer CNC cutter, which with repeatable series means size consistency across the whole batch. Before launching a series we test material samples for shrinkage after washing – with children’s products that is one of the most common causes of complaints if the step is skipped.
Product documentation
Products for infants are subject to product safety requirements and material standards, and some of them – such as baby sleeping bags – have their own product standards. We make them as a contract manufacturer: we sew to the documentation, material specification and standard requirements provided by the brand, while conformity assessment, product testing and placing on the market remain with the ordering party.
If you are only now building a product, we support you technically: we select materials with the right parameters, prepare construction and prototype, and point out construction choices that make later testing easier. This division of roles is standard in contract manufacturing and protects both sides.
How the work runs
We start with a conversation about the product and the planned volume. Children’s brands usually start with short series, so we take orders from 50 pieces, and at 200 to 500 pieces the unit cost drops noticeably. If you have patterns and a specification ready, we go straight to the prototype; if you are starting from a sample or an idea, we prepare construction and grading.
You approve the prototype before the series. We also handle marking: sewing in labels with composition and washing instructions, tags, embroidery, and individual packing ready for retail sale.

Frequently asked questions
What is your minimum order?
From 50 pieces in a trial run – we know children’s brands often start carefully. For repeatable production the optimal threshold is 200 to 500 pieces.
Do you supply the materials?
We work in both models. In CMT you supply fabrics and trims, we cut and sew. In full package we take over sourcing to your material specification.
Do you carry out testing and certification of children’s products?
We do not run conformity assessment or certification – we sew as a contract manufacturer to the documentation and requirements provided by the brand. Product testing and placing on the market remain with the ordering party, though we are glad to advise technically on materials and construction.
Do you sew on supplied materials?
Yes, that is the most common model with children’s products – brands usually already have a chosen fabric supplier and prints.
