Contract sewing is the model in which we take over from a brand, maker or distributor the whole production of a textile product – from the design supplied, or ours, through to a finished, packed product carrying the client’s label. At PRO Clo we have been doing contract sewing for generations, combining the craft of experienced seamstresses with modern machinery and a Bullmer CNC cutting room. We work both for Polish clothing brands and for western European clients in workwear, outdoor, automotive and technical textiles.
What full contract sewing covers
A contract project runs in five stages: technical consultation and quotation, preparation of patterns and markers, CNC cutting from multiple plies, the sewing itself, and finally finishing with labels sewn in, packing and preparation for shipping. The client gets a single account owner who oversees deadlines, quality and the line to the technologist. All processes happen under one roof in Żary – we do not use further subcontractors without the client’s knowledge.

How does a contract plant differ from an ordinary sewing workshop?
A contract plant takes over the whole production process – from cutting to packing with the client’s label – and is answerable for quality and delivery under a framework agreement. An ordinary workshop carries out single orders without long-term commitment to the client’s product.
Is there a minimum order value?
We set no minimum value, but because of the cost of production setup, series above 200 pieces or contracts with a repeatable monthly volume are the most economical.
Do you sign a non-disclosure agreement before quoting?
Yes, if the client wishes. As standard we sign an NDA before detailed technological data, patterns or production documentation are exchanged.
