Clothing design is far more than a drawing of a model – it is the full technical documentation of pattern, size grading, technological description and material specification that makes repeatable production possible. At PRO Clo we combine the experience of technologists with a working sewing plant, so designs are feasible and economical from the outset – no beautiful models that cannot be sewn.

Who we design for
The service is used above all by young brands without their own pattern maker, by companies from other sectors such as sport adding a clothing line, and by distributors preparing a private label. We also work with external pattern makers who lack technological support.
Construction and feasibility
A good pattern maker knows a design needs technological headroom – otherwise it stays on paper. Our technologists work in direct contact with the seamstresses sewing the prototype, so construction problems surface on the sample rather than in production.

Frequently asked questions
Do you design only for clients who then sew with you?
No. We also take on design and construction for external brands and pattern makers. The client receives the full technical documentation for further use.
What does designing a new model cost?
It depends on complexity. The most demanding are complicated constructions such as jackets and overalls, the simplest are plain ranges such as T-shirts and sweatshirts. We prepare an exact quotation once we know the model.
Can I commission a design for something that is not clothing?
Yes. We also design accessories – rucksacks, bags, cases and covers. Our pattern makers have experience with technical products, not only garments.
