Packing clothing is the last stage, and it decides how the recipient experiences the product – whether that is a retail chain or an e-commerce customer. At PRO Clo we run the complete logistics process after sewing: folding to the brand’s standard, bagging, carton labelling, palletising and preparing the load for shipping. We handle both traditional bulk packing and individual packing for e-commerce (pick and pack).
Packing standards we work to
- bulk packing in a polythene bag and master carton,
- retail-ready with hangtag, protector and price label,
- pick and pack for e-commerce: bag, label, leaflet,
- set picking, for example a jacket and trousers as one unit,
- palletising with stretch film and an SSCC logistics label.
Packing for export
For clients in Germany and its neighbours we pack to DHL Paket and GLS standards and to the internal requirements of large retail chains. We use our proximity to the border – most consignments reach Germany in one to two days, which shortens lead time decisively against deliveries from Asia. See nearshoring from Poland.
Storage of finished goods
Some clients use our warehouse as a buffer: we produce the whole series and ship it in batches to the client’s schedule. That smooths seasonality and lowers the unit cost of production, because the series runs in one go.
Frequently asked questions
Do you pack individually for online retail?
Yes. We run pick and pack – individual packing in a bag or box with a shipping label, plus the client’s leaflets, samples and marketing inserts.
Can you store our finished goods?
Yes. Some clients use our warehouse as a buffer: we produce the whole series and ship it in batches to your schedule. Terms are agreed individually.
How long does shipping to Germany take?
One to two days by road to Berlin, Dresden and Leipzig. Across the rest of the EU expect two to five working days. Collection with your own transport from Żary is also possible.
