Sewing in labels and tags – full product labelling

Every textile product on sale needs labels: fibre composition, care instructions, maker and size markings, often country of origin as well. For the EU market the strict requirements of regulation (EU) No 1007/2011 apply. At PRO Clo we sew in labels to those requirements, for the Polish market and for export, as part of garment finishing or as a standalone service.

Types of label we sew in

  • woven labels – the most durable, with a premium look,
  • printed labels on satin and nylon,
  • labels with care instructions using ISO pictograms,
  • labels with barcodes and QR codes,
  • RFID tags for logistics and stock control,
  • card hangtags with batch number and price.

Labelling for export markets

Export markets require a label in the local language with composition and care symbols. We work with Polish and German suppliers of woven labels and will help design a label compliant with GS1 guidance and the consumer law of the destination market. For export this is the point that most often causes trouble.

RFID tags and tracking

For clients from retail chains we sew in RFID tags that enable automatic stocktaking and anti-theft protection. We handle both the sewing itself and the coordination of tag delivery from the maker.
