Subcontract sewing is the model in which we take over part or all of an order the original maker no longer has capacity for. PRO Clo regularly supports other Polish sewing plants and intermediaries serving German, Dutch and Scandinavian brands. We work in the CMT model – the client’s material, we sew – in FOB, where we source materials to specification, and in mixed arrangements.
When our subcontracting helps
- when your own plant cannot meet the deadline,
- when an order needs machines for technical fabrics you do not have,
- when you need fast delivery to western Europe – we are 30 km from the German border, see nearshoring from Poland,
- when you want to outsource finishing – we do it without sewing as well.
How we protect the client’s interest
We sign a non-disclosure agreement, do not contact the client’s end customer and do not circulate product photos or technological data. Subcontract orders are run by a separate account owner with access limited to the project. The client’s material is stored in a separate part of the warehouse with weight and quantity documentation.
Which products we take on most often
What reaches us most often is workwear, softshell jackets, waistcoats, tactical rucksacks, accessories in coated fabrics and technical upholstery. We also have capacity for large formats.

Do you guarantee confidentiality towards the client?
Yes. We sign an NDA at the start of the cooperation, do not contact the client’s end customer and do not circulate photos or documentation. The client’s material is stored in a separate part of the warehouse.
How quickly can you take on an urgent order?
Usually within one to two weeks of signing, depending on current load. For standing partners we reserve capacity under a framework arrangement – an announcement of volume four weeks ahead is enough.
Do you take subcontract orders from abroad?
Yes. Many western European plants and brands redirect production overflow to us – the short logistics lead time of one to two days and lower labour cost make us competitive against Asian subcontractors.
